Flashbots announces open source Flashbots Relay

In response to recent developments surrounding the legal requirements of jurisdictions where Relay providers operate, Flashbots has decided to open source the Flashbots Relay code, the research firm said in a post on its website on August 18. Flashbots also stated that relay diversity when merging Ethereum mainnets is key to Ethereum's health. The open-source code will encourage competition and avoid monopolies and single points of failure.
