Four individual Vauld creditors have filed claims and sent solicitors' letters, most of them in support of a stay
According to a new affidavit filed by Darshan Bathija, co-founder and CEO of crypto lending platform Vauld, in the High Court of Singapore today, four individual creditors of Vauld have initiated claims and sent solicitor's letters to the company. Except for one creditor who requested about $340,000 plus interest through a demand letter, the documents did not mention the full amount of claims made by other creditors. The filing also shows that a majority of Vauld's creditors have expressed support for a stay. Vauld previously reported defaulting on a total of $402 million in debt to its creditors, of which $363 million came from deposits from individual retail investors. Last week, Vauld filed for creditor protection in a Singapore court.
