Anipen, a South Korean aerospace company, has raised about $8.8 million in series C financing, with Medici Investment and other investors
On July 22, Anipen announced that it has raised 11 billion won ($8.8 million) in series C financing, The round was funded by Medici Investment, Ulmus Investment and Korea Development Bank (KDB). Anipen plans to close its Series C financing after meeting the 20 billion won ($16 million) investment the company is currently negotiating. This round of funding will be used to expand its meta-universe content services and strengthen partnerships with companies around the world.
Anipen is a deep learning-based metasurverse platform developer that focuses on augmented reality (AR), extended Reality (XR) and artificial intelligence (AI). The company's flagship product, AnibeaR, is a 3D mobile app that allows users to create AR-infused video content using popular animated children's characters such as Hello Kitty and Teletubbies.
