Sources: If AI assets continue to face pressure, Anthropic may delay its IPO.

BlockBeats news, November 6 - According to Reuters, four people familiar with the matter revealed that potential investors doubt whether Anthropic can complete its roadshow the week after next and go public as planned in November. The roadshow was originally scheduled to begin the week of November 9, with pricing to take place the following week. Some now believe that a valuation cap of $1.5 trillion is already the expectation, and given Anthropic's consecutive quarterly losses and massive investment in AI partners, the company may need to offer a larger discount. Sources said that if AI-related assets continue to come under pressure, the company may postpone its listing until market conditions are more stable. Anthropic declined to comment.

Two sources told Reuters that investors are also waiting for Anthropic's October revenue data, which was left blank in the company's updated S-1 filing, to see whether its growth has recovered from the recent slowdown.
