Intel CEO purchases 150,000 shares of INTC on the open market at an average price of $64.73.

BlockBeats news, November 5 — According to a Form 4 filing disclosed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on November 4, Intel (INTC) CEO Lip-Bu Tan purchased 150,000 shares of the company's common stock on the open market through a family trust on November 2, at a weighted average price of $64.7312, for a total of approximately $9.71 million.

The filing shows the transaction was executed in multiple lots, with prices ranging from $64.705 to $64.735; after the transaction, the family trust's holdings increased to 1.4647 million shares. This is Tan's second large-scale personal purchase since August of this year. He previously bought approximately 105,000 shares at an average price of $95 on August 11, spending nearly $10 million. This purchase comes after Intel's stock price experienced a significant drawdown, and the related holdings are currently showing unrealized losses.
