Beating AI News, November 4 — Meituan co-founder Wang Huiwen revealed on Jike that AirBuild is his latest investment project. His family office investment firm Lollapalooza Capital's official website has also listed YellowPlus, the company behind AirBuild, in its portfolio.
AirBuild aims to let AI handle the entire process of an iOS app from development to launch. Users describe what they want to build, and multiple AI Agents covering product, design, engineering, and more collaborate to complete requirement planning, interface design, and native iOS code.
One of its key features is automatically handling Apple App Store review. AI can prepare app screenshots and descriptions and submit for review. If rejected by Apple, it can read the review feedback, modify code or supplement materials, then reply to reviewers and resubmit, reducing manual work for developers.
AirBuild's founder and CEO is Hwang, who previously led product design for the open-source knowledge management tool AFFiNE and was an early team member of the AI Agent product Bridge. He also independently developed Lofi. and Sleepy Coffee, both of which received Apple App Store editorial recommendations.
AirBuild currently operates on an invite-only basis, with users needing to apply for testing access first. The free version supports AI Agent collaborative development of iOS apps, building programs, and hosting websites, but requires users to provide their own AI model API Key. The paid version offers more cloud resources and model credits, and adds features including TestFlight beta distribution, automatic App Store submission, and modification and resubmission based on Apple's review feedback.
After exiting Guangnian Zhiwai in 2023, Wang Huiwen has successively invested in multiple AI companies. Notable ones include Moonshot AI, the parent company of Kimi; Butterfly Effect, the developer of Manus; as well as SiliconFlow, Aishi Technology, and Sand.ai.
