Upbit's parent company Dunamu participates in the National Assembly Legislative Expo, proposing to protect virtual asset inheritance.

BlockBeats news, November 5 — According to Yonhap News Agency, Dunamu, the operator of Upbit, is participating for two consecutive days starting today in the "2026 National Assembly Legislative Expo" held at the central lawn square of the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul, under the slogan "The value of digital assets, safely passed to the next generation," with a booth focused on proposing institutional improvements to enhance the protection of virtual assets as inherited property.

The company noted that the core is to protect users' virtual assets as quickly as possible after death and to make it easier for heirs to locate the relevant assets. A Dunamu official said that virtual assets remain in a blind spot of institutional protection during the inheritance process, and expressed hope that this policy proposal can serve as an opportunity to solidify the institutional foundation.
