BlockBeats news, November 4: In response to "Binance facing a second front of public opinion after a security incident," Yi He stated, "When storms come, they think cutting down the biggest tree will make them winners. Fanning the flames will only drive everyone away and reduce confidence in the industry, not just in Binance."
Earlier, Binance founder CZ reposted a long article and called it "another attack against Binance." According to statistics in the article, from 05:00 on October 30 to 20:00 on November 2, within about 78 hours, 1,083 accounts published 11,700 hostile posts about the Binance hot wallet theft incident, generating about 20.93 million impressions, of which 79.6% were replies, and 3,354 were judged to be false information across 15 categories of rumors. The article argues that alongside the real security incident, coordinated narrative operations with rhythm and division of labor also appeared on X at the same time, with themes switching according to Binance's response milestones, including insider involvement, insolvency, a second FTX, not daring to open withdrawals, a run once withdrawals opened, and exaggerating net outflows.
