Iron Fish: Abnormal minting of wIRON on Base, refrain from buying or using cross-chain bridges for now

BlockBeats news, October 28: Privacy public chain Iron Fish has announced that it is investigating the abnormal minting of wIRON on Base and has requested cross-chain bridge service provider ChainPort to conduct an emergency review. The official warning advises against buying wIRON on Base or using related cross-chain bridges until further notice, as its full 1:1 reserve backing cannot currently be guaranteed. Iron Fish stated that it will continue to update progress once facts are confirmed.
