BlockBeats news, October 27 - According to an official announcement, payment technology company ACI Worldwide (ACIW) and USDC issuer Circle (CRCL) have announced a partnership. The two parties will utilize ACI's cloud-native intelligent payment orchestration platform ACI Connetic and Circle's USDC infrastructure to help financial institutions introduce stablecoin settlement into existing payment operations, bridging traditional payment systems with digital asset infrastructure.
The project will initially focus on Colombia. ACI Worldwide provides core infrastructure for the local interconnected instant payment system Bre-B, and the two parties plan to explore how stablecoins such as USDC can interoperate with existing real-time account-to-account payment systems to build a more interconnected multi-rail payment network. The collaboration aims to help financial institutions evaluate stablecoin settlement models within familiar operating environments, enabling integration with traditional payment channels, treasury management, governance frameworks, and settlement processes.
