BlockBeats news, October 22: Crypto custody and stablecoin infrastructure company Fireblocks has denied a previous Axios report claiming that Visa is in late-stage talks to acquire the company for approximately $2.5 billion, stating it is not true. Fireblocks said, "This is news to us and is not true at this time." Visa said it does not comment on rumors or speculation.
Earlier reports said Visa was in talks to acquire crypto asset custody infrastructure company Fireblocks in a deal valued at approximately $2.5 billion. If the deal is reached, it would further expand Visa's footprint in digital asset custody and blockchain payment infrastructure.
