BTC sees hundreds of positions and $500 million in long-short cost overlap—could a breakout be imminent?

BlockBeats news, October 22 - Compared to September, BTC's overall volatility has noticeably narrowed this month, with the costs of large long and short positions highly overlapping within a range of only $1,000. However, above and below this common cost band, the liquidation risks on both sides are strikingly asymmetric. According to TradingBeats monitoring, BTC is currently trading at approximately $81,856. A total of 351 accounts with single-coin positions exceeding $1 million have been identified: 195 long positions hold a combined total of approximately $1.188 billion, while 156 short positions hold a combined total of approximately $1.395 billion.
