BlockBeats news, October 22 — According to three people familiar with the matter, Anthropic plans to publicly file its S-1 investor prospectus as early as this Friday. The company confidentially submitted a draft to the SEC in June this year; under SEC rules, companies using confidential filings must make the relevant materials public at least 15 calendar days before the formal investor roadshow begins. The public filing will clear a key procedural hurdle for a potential November listing (the final timing still depends on factors such as market conditions).
Previously, some investors were considering valuing Anthropic's upcoming IPO at $1.5 trillion, a 25% decline from the earlier $2 trillion expectation.
Separately, according to Entropy trading platform data, the market value of Anthropic's over-the-counter contracts is currently reported at $1.957 trillion.
