BlockBeats news, October 21 - According to The Washington Post, the latest federal campaign finance disclosures show that Trump's main super PAC MAGA Inc. has spent $277 million to support Republican candidates in the midterm elections, and still held about $164 million in cash as of last week.
The above expenditures were mainly completed through affiliated super PACs, including transferring $200 million to No Going Back PAC and $25 million to Safety & Affordability PAC. Since early September, MAGA Inc. has also spent about $34 million on its own ads targeting Democratic candidates for the Senate and House of Representatives.
On the donor side, crypto billionaire Bijan Tehrani and the conservative AI think tank Alliance for a Better Future each donated $1 million. Trump previously also said that his political operation has pledged $400 million for the midterm elections, of which $300 million has been used for advertising, voter outreach, rallies, and election monitoring.
