Supermicro's upward revision of its performance drove Dell's rebound, and the largest long position on-chain for DELL took the opportunity to reduce its holdings by nearly half.

BlockBeats news, October 21: Super Micro Computer raised its preliminary quarterly revenue and gross margin expectations, driving Dell (DELL) shares up about 6% in after-hours trading at one point. According to TradingBeats monitoring, the largest DELL long position holder, who had continuously averaged down during the previous decline, reduced approximately $960,000 worth of position during the early hours of today amid this rebound, nearly half of the original holdings. The reduced portion realized a total loss of about $6,300, essentially close to a break-even exit.

Currently, the whale still holds 2,200 DELL long contracts, with a position value of approximately $1.08 million, at an average price of about $482, using 4x isolated leverage, with the remaining position showing unrealized gains of about $17,000.
