JPMorgan predicts that Bitcoin will become the highest-return asset over the next decade, surpassing US stocks and gold.

BlockBeats news, October 20 - JPMorgan Asset Management released its "2027 Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions" report on October 19, including Bitcoin in its long-term return projections for the first time. It forecasts a compound annual growth rate of 10% for Bitcoin over the next 10 to 15 years, surpassing the 7.5% for large-cap U.S. stocks, 5.5% for gold, and 8.2% for U.S. real estate investment trusts (REITs). The report also predicts an arithmetic average annual return of 20.9% and an annualized volatility of 55% for Bitcoin.

Matt Hougan, Chief Investment Officer of Bitwise, commented that JPMorgan's listing of Bitcoin as the asset with the best expected performance over the next decade signifies a shift in traditional financial institutions' attitudes towards cryptocurrencies.
