BlockBeats news, October 16: Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin posted that he has encapsulated zkAPI, Tor, extra cover traffic, and local large model prompt rewriting into a daemon compatible with the OpenAI interface, and added a "paranoid mode" to the personal agent framework pi. Each conversation is assigned an independent Tor circuit, requests are masked with random cover traffic, zkAPI prevents identity leakage during the payment process, and prompts are rewritten by a local model.
Vitalik stated that the agent is also wrapped with a bwrap sandbox and torsocks, with all operations going through Tor. It is now fairly usable but latency has increased significantly, especially when creating new conversations. Vitalik believes that Tor is not optimal for such scenarios, and that a dedicated mixnet would be more ideal. Cheaper zkAPI deposit and withdrawal gas fees are about to launch on mainnet.
