BlockBeats news, October 15 — StandX announced that after a strategic review of its business and market environment, it has decided not to launch a platform token, and will instead conduct a one-time DUSD airdrop to the community. The airdrop has no lock-up, and after claiming, users may freely transfer, trade, or redeem it. At the same time, StandX will gradually cease operations, and users must complete claiming, closing positions, withdrawals, and redemptions within the specified deadlines.
The announcement disclosed that since its mainnet launch in November 2025, StandX has served more than 237,000 users, with peak TVL exceeding $200 million. The platform said it was the first perpetual contract DEX to launch a rewards program for community market makers, and that no fund security incidents occurred throughout its operating history. StandX said that most of its previous revenue had already been returned to users through SIP-2 and SIP-3; this airdrop will use all remaining project revenue for community giveback, and the team will also add additional funds. The team also acknowledged that not issuing a token may disappoint some users, but believes this is the right decision for the community.
The announcement shows that all times are UTC. At 00:00 on October 26, 2026, the airdrop query page will go live; from 00:00 on November 1, 2026 to 08:00 on December 31, users can use the BNB Chain or Solana wallet address they used on StandX to claim the full DUSD amount. Airdrops not claimed before the deadline will be voided.
Airdrop eligibility is based on users' activity on StandX, including pre-deposits, Alpha, mainnet trading, market making, and referrals. All allocations are subject to anti-sybil and wash trading screening, and StandX reserves the right to adjust or void allocations for abnormal accounts.
On operations, StandX said it will gradually cease operations after the strategic review, with trading remaining normal until October 20. Starting October 15, 2026, all yields will stop, including DUSD yield, Position Yield, Community Maker Yield, and referral commissions, and new vaults and new vault deposits will be closed.
The announcement reminded users to: claim the DUSD airdrop between 00:00 UTC on November 1, 2026 and 08:00 UTC on December 31; close positions themselves before January 15, 2027; transfer assets from the Perps wallet to the Cash wallet before January 31, 2027, then withdraw to an on-chain wallet, and act as early as possible to avoid network congestion. Withdrawals are received in DUSD; to convert to USDT, a redemption request must be submitted before January 31.
StandX was co-founded at the end of 2025 by AG and Justin, former core members of Binance's futures team, along with AC, a senior trading systems technology lead with a Goldman Sachs background. AG and Justin were deeply involved in building Binance Futures from the ground up; AC brings extensive experience from developing liquidity engines at Goldman Sachs and managing on-chain trading at Amber Group.
