BlockBeats news, October 14 — According to people familiar with the matter, Bank of America is no longer involved in the potential IPO underwriting arrangements for AI company Moonshot AI. Bank of America had previously held discussions about serving as overall coordinator for its Hong Kong IPO, but ultimately did not receive a formal mandate.
It is understood that Moonshot AI plans to list in Hong Kong as early as the first quarter of 2027, with fundraising potentially reaching as much as $5 billion. Currently, Goldman Sachs is the only U.S. bank to have secured a role in the IPO project, and will serve as a listing sponsor alongside CICC and Deutsche Bank. (Bloomberg)
