The current market value of these tokens has risen to about $3.953 billion. The Hyperliquid Assistance Fund primarily uses protocol trading fee revenue to continuously buy back HYPE from the open market, serving as a core mechanism for the protocol to return value to token holders.

Recently, Hyperliquid has also injected a portion of USDC reserve yields into the Assistance Fund through the AQAv2 framework to further expand the source of buyback funds, making buybacks no longer entirely dependent on trading fees.
