Solana Foundation Vice President of Technology: Solana users do not need to enter 'safe-haven mode,' seed phrases are not on-chain.

BlockBeats news, October 8: Jacob Creech, Vice President of Technology at the Solana Foundation, posted on social media that even if the quantum timeline is accelerated or there is an AI "classical attack," Solana users do not need to enter "bunker mode" like users of other networks.

Jacob Creech stated that Solana uses Ed25519, where each signing key is derived from a hash of a secret seed. Whether a quantum or "classical" attack breaks the curve, what is exposed is the derived key rather than the seed, and the seed never appears on-chain.
