BlockBeats news, October 6: Lido stated that following last week's infrastructure investigation, MetaMask Staking has largely completed the exit process for its Lido validators, with no unexpected incidents throughout the process, and the exited ETH will continue to re-enter the Lido protocol over the coming weeks. Due to the operator's timely disclosure of the issue and rapid measures taken, the impact on stETH holders has been limited.
Lido said that the final batch of validators is currently completing their exit, and the stETH APR is 2.23%, flat or higher compared to levels since August. stETH yield comes from over 600 independent node operators across the curated staking module and the community staking module, so the precautionary exit of a single large operator has limited impact on overall yield. MetaMask Staking will release a full post-mortem report in the coming weeks.
