BlockBeats news, October 6 — At the OKX NOW Global Product and Ecosystem Conference held in Singapore, OKX founder and CEO Star delivered a keynote speech titled "Building the Next Generation of Financial Services," stating that the trading platform is OKX's starting point, not its endpoint. Star believes that the internet, crypto technology, and AI are driving financial services toward globalization, real-time operation, and personalization, and that OKX will focus on four major directions—fund custody, payments, investment, and wealth management—to build a next-generation global fintech platform.
Star said that crypto finance and traditional finance are accelerating their integration: crypto technology brings always-on infrastructure, programmable money, global settlement, and self-custody capabilities, while traditional finance brings liquidity, regulatory experience, and institutional trust. OKX will continue to invest in global compliance infrastructure and enhance transparency through regular proof of reserves. Star also disclosed that Deloitte has become OKX's global auditor.
Regarding AI, Star said that AI has become OKX's core infrastructure. Currently, about 95% of engineering code merge requests have their main development work completed through AI workflows, with engineers responsible for review, testing, and final approval. He believes that AI will also be widely applied in the future in scenarios such as customer service, anti-fraud, user protection, compliance, and wealth management, and is expected to extend personalized wealth management services that were previously mainly available to high-net-worth clients to more ordinary users.
