BlockBeats news, October 1st, ether.fi officially posted on social media stating that it is aware of a previous security incident related to an Ethereum node operator. WEETH has no risk exposure and therefore will not be affected in any way. All funds are safe.

BlockBeats previously reported that Metamask posted earlier today stating that it is dealing with a security incident affecting some of Metamask's infrastructure. No direct threat to the MetaMask wallet has been found at this time. As a precautionary measure, Metamask is working with customers, partners, and security advisors to proactively evacuate the affected validators to maintain the security of Metamask's non-custodial staking operations.
