U.S. stocks opened with semiconductor and memory stocks showing relatively strong performance, while optical communications and Neocloud stocks declined, with Intel rising over 2%.

BlockBeats news, September 30th, according to BIT(bit.com) market data, at the U.S. stock market open, semiconductor stocks traded mixed. Intel (INTC) rose 2.50%, Nvidia (NVDA) rose 1.72%, Qualcomm (QCOM) rose 1.49%, Lam Research (LRCX) rose 0.52%; Arm (ARM) fell 1.68%, Marvell Technology (MRVL) fell 1.36%.


Storage stocks showed slight divergence. Micron Technology (MU) rose 0.82%, SanDisk (SNDK) rose 0.35%; Western Digital (WDC) fell 0.87%, SK Hynix (SKHY) fell 0.09%.


Optical communication concept stocks mostly declined. Corning (GLW) fell 2.97%, Coherent (COHR) fell 1.61%, Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) fell 1.33%, Ciena (CIEN) fell 0.98%.


Neocloud stocks broadly declined, Hut 8 (HUT) fell 5.86%, Cipher Digital (CIFR) fell 2.82%, Applied Digital (APLD) fell 2.56%, TeraWulf (WULF) fell 2.49%.
