BlockBeats news, September 30 — According to the latest data from CryptoQuant, the 7-day cumulative number of altcoin deposit transactions to trading platforms rose to 78,000 on September 28, up about 160% from approximately 29,800 on September 14, marking the highest level since October 2025.
During the same period, the number of addresses depositing altcoins to trading platforms increased from about 17,600 to 51,600, nearly tripling and also hitting a near one-year high. CryptoQuant said the growth in exchange inflows this time was broad-based, and noted that holders transferring tokens to trading platforms usually means they are preparing to sell, so the related data may signal potential selling pressure.
Meanwhile, altcoins have recently shown relative strength against Bitcoin. Bitcoin's market dominance has been fluctuating between 58% and 60.4% since May 27 and remains below 60%; crypto assets outside the top 10 by market cap accounted for 9% of total market value on September 27, the highest level since February this year.
