BlockBeats news, September 30 - Oh Kyoung-suk, CEO of Dunamu, the parent company operating South Korea's largest digital asset exchange Upbit, stated at Korea Blockchain Week that the company is seeking growth opportunities outside South Korea, with the goal of connecting South Korea's digital asset ecosystem with global financial markets.
Dunamu plans to collaborate with Naver Financial to provide shared infrastructure including trading, custody, asset transfer, and anti-money laundering services for banks, brokerages, payment and fintech companies. The share swap transaction between the two parties is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year, but is still awaiting review by South Korea's Fair Trade Commission and may face delays.
