BlockBeats news, September 30 — Nvidia's deployment progress in co-packaged optics (CPO) is faster than market expectations, further heating up market demand for AI data center optical interconnects. As an important participant in Nvidia's advanced optical supply chain, Lumentum is seen as a potential direct beneficiary.
GF Securities' latest research report estimates that Lumentum's CPO laser revenue will increase from $427 million in 2027 to $750 million in 2028; over the same period, near-packaged optics (NPO) laser revenue is expected to rise from $501 million to $2.55 billion, and it reiterated its "Buy" rating on Lumentum.
