BlockBeats news, September 26: Binance founder CZ said in an interview on the "When Shift Happens" podcast that he has always been bullish on Bitcoin, but denied having the ability to influence the entire crypto market price. Regarding his previous post on August 19, when Bitcoin was in the roughly $60,000 range, CZ wrote that if you want your future self two years from now to thank you for today's decision, you need to take action immediately. The post was interpreted by the market as a hint to buy Bitcoin, and the crypto market rose about 20% over the following days.
CZ responded that he does not have the ability to drive the entire market price. He said he has always been bullish on the crypto industry, and almost all of his posts carry a bullish bias. He may post 5 to 10 times a day, so it is not surprising that one of them happened to appear before positive news.
CZ said that about 5 hours after the post was published, Trump made remarks relatively positive for the crypto industry, including mentioning pushing Hyperliquid into the U.S. market, but he did not know the content of the speech in advance. He emphasized that if he possessed any information that could affect the market, he would instead not post about related content. Therefore, the post and the subsequent market rise were merely a coincidence in timing.
As for the Bitcoin cycle, CZ said the crypto market has so far broadly followed a four-year cycle. At the time, some people calculated based on this that Bitcoin might bottom in October, and he believed there was no need to wait until October to express a bullish view.
