CZ: Not opposed to Hyperliquid, welcomes more DEXs to compete.

BlockBeats news, September 26: Binance founder CZ said in an interview on the "When Shift Happens" podcast that he is not opposed to Hyperliquid and welcomes more centralized and decentralized trading platforms to participate in innovation, as the industry is currently far from saturated. He estimated that the proportion of people who own some kind of crypto asset is about 5% to 15%, but when calculated by the share of personal wealth allocation, the penetration rate of crypto assets may be less than 1%, so the industry is still in its early stages.

CZ said that some members of the Hyperliquid community are trying to build their own community by criticizing centralized trading platforms and Binance, but he views this as normal competition and is not opposed to the project. Previously, Trump mentioned Hyperliquid, which is very good for the industry. Assets such as HYPE, BNB, and Bitcoin may all benefit from the overall growth of the industry.

CZ also pointed out that first movers do not necessarily become the biggest long-term winners. Google, Facebook, and Binance were all not the first products in their respective fields, and later entrants can usually further optimize on the basis of the pioneers. Although he holds a large amount of Binance equity and BNB, centralized trading platforms are only part of his asset allocation. Compared with expanding a single platform, he would rather promote the growth of the entire crypto industry.
