Tether Follows Up by Freezing 218,000 USDT in Hacked Bitget Address, 7 Hours After Circle

BlockBeats news, September 25th, according to on-chain data, Tether has successfully frozen 218,000 USDT in the stolen address of Bitget. This address is a "three-hop" associated address of Bitget's initial stolen address and had remained inactive for over 2.5 hours after being discovered.

Crypto KOL tanuki42 initiated a "Circle vs Tether" tracking at the time, asking which of the two companies would freeze the related assets first.

Currently, Circle froze the related stolen assets 7 hours and 18 minutes earlier than Tether.
