BlockBeats news, September 22, according to BIT (bit.com) market data, U.S. stocks closed with the Nasdaq up 2.26% to a new high, the Dow up 0.71%, and the S&P 500 up 1.49%. U.S. chip stocks surged across the board, with AMD up nearly 10%, its market capitalization exceeding $1 trillion for the first time. Meta's stock price closed up 11.43%, as its personal AI assistant Muse replaced ChatGPT to become the most popular free app on the U.S. iOS platform. The semiconductor, storage, and optical communications sectors all rose.

Western Digital (WDC) rose 1.54%;

SanDisk (SNDK) fell 1.41%;

Micron Technology (MU) rose 2.77%;
