Kimi launches new subscription packages two months after pausing sign-ups, Code not spun off for separate sale

动察 Beating AI News Flash: Moonshot AI launches new Kimi membership tiers. The four tiers are renamed Go, Plus, Pro, and Max, with annual payments of 468, 948, 1,908, and 6,708 yuan respectively, equivalent to 39, 79, 159, and 559 yuan per month.

Kimi Code has not been split off for separate charging as originally announced. The new Plus, Pro, and Max tiers still include Kimi Code, with only the lowest-tier Go not supporting it.

In July, Kimi suspended new user subscriptions due to computing power constraints following the launch of K3, and announced that the main Kimi membership and Kimi Code would be charged separately. Subsequently, under user pressure, the split-charging plan was largely withdrawn.

The new four-tier annual fees are exactly the same as the old Andante, Moderato, Allegretto, and Allegro. However, the lowest tier of the old plans still allowed access to Kimi Code, while the Go tier at the same price has now removed this benefit; to use Code, the annual payment threshold has risen from 468 yuan to 948 yuan.
