Analysis: Bitcoin enters cost game zone, $71,300 support, $79,800 resistance

BlockBeats news, September 17: Crypto analyst Darkfost posted that Bitcoin has entered a cost battleground zone between $71,300 and $79,800, a situation similar to what occurred at the end of the 2023 bear market, when BTC also faced resistance twice before breaking through the relevant cost basis area, and the market may react in the follow-up.

Darkfost pointed out that Bitcoin is still trading above the "active supply cost basis" of $71,300, a level that represents the average cost of BTC actually in circulation in the market and may form important support. On the other hand, Bitcoin's "invested capital cost basis" at $79,800 constitutes resistance, where Bitcoin has repeatedly been blocked before, mainly because some losing positions chose to exit after approaching breakeven.
