BlockBeats news, September 17: Renowned DeFi researcher Ignas posted that he has "zero FOMO" about trading meme coins on the Arc chain, believing that the network is positioned more toward enterprise-grade foreign exchange and payment scenarios rather than crypto-native trading culture.
Ignas stated that the Arc ecosystem currently does not show clear support for retail crypto traders and "degen" culture. In comparison, he believes that although Robinhood Chain also has enterprise attributes, its support for crypto-native users and developers is more evident, including support for building on Ethereum, using ETH, and allocating 10% to Arbitrum.
He believes that the ARC token airdrop may be the most attractive narrative in the Arc ecosystem at present, as 60% of the tokens are planned for the ecosystem. However, he expects that this portion of tokens is more likely to be distributed as subsidies to partners in payments, foreign exchange, and tokenization, rather than directly incentivizing meme coin traders.
Ignas also stated that from Robinhood Chain to Solana, and then to Arc, the narrative around "enterprise platform + meme trading" is repeating, and unless unexpected changes occur in the Arc ecosystem, he prefers to look for other trading opportunities.
