UK-listed company Satsuma sells all 669.4867 bitcoins, plans to return £30.719 million to eligible shareholders.

BlockBeats news, September 14: UK-listed company Satsuma Technology sold all 669.4867 bitcoins between July 24 and 31 at a volume-weighted average price of £47,667 per bitcoin, generating £31.912 million.

The UK High Court approved on September 8 the cancellation of its 11.236 billion Class B shares and determined a return of £30.719 million to eligible shareholders, at £0.002734 per Class B share; the relevant shareholders received one Class B share for each ordinary share held at the record time. After deducting approximately £2.6 million in transaction and termination costs and retaining £2 million in working capital, the funds are expected to be credited by cheque, bank account, or CREST on or before September 28. The company had previously expected to cancel its London listing on September 14, but the completion of the relevant progress has not yet been confirmed.
