Tom Lee: Crypto Market Will Be 'Very Bullish' Over Next 12 Months, Four-Year Cycle Bottom May Appear Next Month

BlockBeats news, September 13: Tom Lee, Chairman of Ethereum treasury company BitMine, stated that the crypto market will enter a "very bullish" phase over the next 12 months. He believes that after more than $19 billion in leveraged positions were liquidated on October 10 last year when the U.S. threatened to impose 100% tariffs on China, a large amount of borrowed funds has been cleared out, and the bottom of the crypto market's four-year cycle may appear next month.

Tom Lee is also bullish on the long-term opportunities brought by asset tokenization. He estimates that if $100 trillion in assets migrate on-chain in the future and generate 1% income from it, that would produce about $1.1 trillion in annual revenue, corresponding to a market opportunity of about $20 trillion based on traditional corporate valuations.

However, BitMine currently holds 5.93 million ETH, with related positions showing a paper loss of about $5 billion. Fundstrat has continuously advised clients for more than a decade to allocate 2% of their portfolios to crypto assets; Tom Lee said that among client accounts that adopted this advice, crypto assets now account for more than 85% of their portfolios.
