FT: Former Huobi founder Li Lin sells London mansion for £190 million

BlockBeats news, September 12, according to the Financial Times, former Huobi founder Li Lin recently sold the mansion The Holme in Regent's Park, London for approximately £190 million. Li Lin purchased the property for £139 million in 2024, held it for nearly two years before selling, with a book price difference of approximately £51 million.


The Holme has 40 bedrooms and approximately 4 acres of private gardens, and has long been leased from the Crown Estate. The seller's identity in this transaction had previously remained undisclosed, and Li Lin's actual ownership relationship was not reflected in publicly available UK property registries.


Li Lin founded the crypto trading platform Huobi in 2013 and sold his shares in 2022. His family office Avenir Group is headquartered in Hong Kong and primarily invests in digital assets. Li Lin is currently also the largest shareholder of crypto wealth management group Bitfire Group, holding a 30% stake.
