Nasdaq and other institutions call on the EU to remove the size cap on tokenization pilots.

BlockBeats news, September 10 - An industry alliance comprising institutions such as Nasdaq and the Stuttgart Stock Exchange in Germany is calling on the EU to eliminate or raise the size cap in its tokenized securities pilot, warning that the current limit is too low and that some existing European tokenization projects have already exceeded this threshold.

The alliance argues that overly low size limits could hinder the development of Europe's tokenized securities market and recommends that the EU expand the pilot scope to allow market participants to further test blockchain-based securities issuance, trading, and settlement models.
