Trade.xyz's weekly volume cooled 38% from last month, with WTI crude oil topping the list as the most-traded contract.

BlockBeats news, September 10, according to TradingBeats monitoring, the trading heat of traditional assets on Hyperliquid is retreating from its mid-August high. From September 3 to 9, Trade.xyz's weekly trading volume was approximately $13.15 billion, down 37.6% from $21.09 billion from August 13 to 19; during the same period, its share of Hyperliquid's platform-wide perpetual trading volume fell from about 45.3% to 25.9%, with the main factors including a significant recovery in crypto and cooling demand for stock trading.

However, that share has rebounded for two consecutive weeks. During the same period, Hyperliquid's main market weekly trading volume rose from about $25.39 billion to $37.36 billion, an increase of 47.1%. The decline in Trade.xyz's share came both from its own lower trading volume and from the rapid expansion of the platform-wide denominator.

The cooling in individual stock contracts was even more pronounced. Its weekly trading volume fell from about $13.87 billion in mid-August to $7.19 billion in the latest week, a decline of 48.1%, nearly halving. In the most recent week, the week-over-week decline was about 6%.

Nvidia was the biggest drag, with weekly trading volume falling from about $977 million to $291 million, down 70.2%, possibly due to fading interest after Nvidia released its earnings report on August 26. By comparison, SKHX weekly trading volume reached $1.716 billion, up 9.8% week-over-week, while SKHY rose 35.0%; SpaceX, Robinhood, and Intel rose about 27.1%, 85.1%, and 63.6%, respectively. SanDisk and Micron fell about 17.1% and 1.5%, respectively.

At the same time, some capital interest shifted to crude oil. In the most recent week, WTI and Brent crude oil trading volume rose about 21.1% and 55.8%, respectively, but gold and silver fell 42.3% and 49.9%, respectively, while total commodity contract trading volume still edged down about 2.8%.

Among them, WTI crude oil (CL) 7-day trading volume has risen to about $1.6 billion, surpassing SKHX's about $1.5 billion, making it the single largest contract by 7-day trading volume on Trade.xyz currently.

Open interest data over the past week shows that the notional open interest of individual stock contracts rose from about $2.016 billion on September 3 to about $2.235 billion on September 10, an increase of 10.8%.

As of press time, Trade.xyz's 24-hour trading volume was about $2.719 billion, accounting for about 28.4% of Hyperliquid's trading volume; among that, individual stock contracts contributed about $1.541 billion overall, accounting for 56.7% of Trade.xyz's trading volume, remaining the largest trading category within the platform.
