Trezor: Third-party email service provider hacked

BlockBeats News, September 10 - Hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor officially disclosed that its third-party email service provider was hacked, and phishing emails are currently circulating. Trezor explicitly stated that these emails were not sent officially, and has urgently taken down related domains and launched an investigation. Users are reminded not to click on any suspicious links.

Previously, on August 13, Trezor disclosed that its fulfillment partner ShipMonk suffered a data breach, exposing the personal data of 13,689 Trezor customers. Among them, the full names, phone numbers, email addresses, and shipping addresses of 11,742 individuals were stolen, while the names, cities, and email addresses of 1,947 individuals were leaked. Its own systems were not compromised, and devices, private keys, and wallet backups were all unaffected, with the scope of the leak currently under control.
