Google clarifies that Antigravity account bans will not extend to Google accounts.

Using third-party tools like OpenClaw to connect via Antigravity OAuth remains a violation; however, the new version clarifies that such violations may result in suspension or termination of the Antigravity and/or Gemini CLI account, not the entire Google account.

Previously, the terms only mentioned "your account," leaving the scope of penalties ambiguous and potentially implying the entire Google account could be affected. The controversy was sparked by prominent developer and T3 Code founder Theo Browne, along with Gergely Orosz, author of "The Pragmatic Engineer." Both warned that using a Gemini subscription with third-party tools could lead to a full Google account ban. Antigravity head Varun Mohan subsequently responded, stating this was incorrect and that the terms were poorly worded, promising to revise them. The new terms now clearly define the boundaries of penalties.

However, the core restrictions remain unchanged. Google's FAQ still explicitly prohibits third-party tools such as Claude Code, OpenClaw, and OpenCode from using Antigravity login. For those looking to call Gemini within third-party coding agents, the official recommendation is to switch to Vertex AI or an AI Studio API Key. In fact, Google issued mass bans over this issue back in February, later resetting the initial bans and adding an appeals process.
