Anthropic IPO may be delayed until mid-October, aiming for a $2 trillion valuation

动察 Beating AI Flash News: According to Reuters citing sources familiar with the matter, AI company Anthropic's IPO plan is being adjusted toward mid-October, with a roadshow potentially launching as early as mid-October and a listing completed before the U.S. midterm elections in November. The company had originally planned to publicly file its IPO prospectus as early as next week, but it is now expected to be delayed until the end of September.

This timing adjustment means Anthropic could target a listing valuation of up to approximately $2 trillion. If realized, it would become one of the largest IPOs in history and serve as a key test case for capital markets to assess the growth potential of the AI industry.

Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Anthropic is advancing efforts to finalize a $15 billion revolving credit facility, with analysts from participating banks expected to meet with the company before the prospectus is made public. Institutions including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Citigroup are involved in the IPO preparation work.

The IPO is expected to draw significant market attention and may proceed in parallel with potential listing plans from other AI companies such as OpenAI.
