Anthropic is preparing to go public, with Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs vying for key underwriting roles.

Dynamic Insight AI Newsletter, According to the Financial Times, artificial intelligence company Anthropic is close to finalizing Morgan Stanley (MS.N) and Goldman Sachs (GS.N) as key players in its initial public offering and plans to file for listing as early as next week.

Sources familiar with the matter said Morgan Stanley is currently in the lead as "lead-left underwriter," responsible for IPO advisory work; Goldman Sachs is expected to act as the stabilization price agent, in charge of the company's initial trading stabilization. JPMorgan Chase (JPM.N), Citigroup (C.N), and Barclays (BCS.N) are also expected to play significant roles in the transaction.

Anthropic is expected to go public in New York at the end of September or early October, and this IPO will test investors' appetite for rapidly growing AI companies.
