Perception Beating AI News Flash: OpenCode has launched another anonymous model, Omen Alpha, but this time the identity seems to have been revealed in advance. OpenCode's own data page directly attributes it to Zhipu. Zhipu has not officially claimed it yet, nor has it disclosed which GLM model it actually is.
Only 9 days have passed since the last anonymous model was unveiled. Previously, Zhipu disguised GLM-5.3-Flash as Ox Alpha for free testing on OpenRouter and OpenCode. Its true identity was officially announced on August 26, along with the release of the model's weights.
However, this time there is no free lunch. Omen Alpha is only available to OpenCode Go users for $10 per month, with the package offering $100 worth of Omen usage. The input fee is $0.20 per million tokens, and the output fee is $0.66, approximately 30% higher than the official price of GLM-5.3-Flash. However, GLM-5.3-Flash is currently being offered at a 50% discount, so at the current price, Omen Alpha is approximately 1.6 times more expensive.
The official specifications of Omen Alpha are currently blank. OpenCode has not disclosed the context, input modalities, or maximum output. Some in the community have speculated that it may be a new GLM-5.x model or an Omni branch.
