BlockBeats News, September 4th. According to TradingBeats (formerly Hyperinsight), the largest long position holder of HYPE holds 1.38 million HYPE with a unrealized profit of $66.8 million. Since completing the last accumulation on December 6, 2025, there has been no further reduction in the position. However, during the same period, $49.9567 million has been withdrawn from HyperCore, achieving a fund recovery effect equivalent to gradually "passive profit-taking" while maintaining the entire upside exposure.
During this period, approximately $85.5 million has been withdrawn, including $14.5 million in direct withdrawals and $71 million transferred to the same HyperEVM address; nearly $50 million is considered net capital outflow.
After deducting all observable deposits and inflows, the whale still has a net outflow of approximately $21.99 million from HyperCore, meaning that it can be economically seen as the withdrawn unrealized gains in HYPE.
In addition, the whale has paid a total of $5.3384 million in funding fees and continues to withdraw over $29 million in margin. As HYPE rebounds, its liquidation price has continuously risen from around $20.1 in January to $41.3 in May, $52.8 in June, and further to $67.67 now. The current position is as follows:
- HYPE Long (5x leverage): Holding 1.38 million HYPE, with a scale of approximately $120 million, an average price of $38.67, a current price of around $87.105, an unrealized profit of approximately $66.83 million, a return rate of approximately 626%, a liquidation price of $67.67, and a margin call distance of about 22.31% from the current price.
Calculating based on the initial margin of $10.67 million as its principal, even if the unrealized profit is reset to zero after liquidation in the future, after deducting the withdrawn $21.995 million and $5.3384 million in funding fees from the principal, it can still lock in a net profit of approximately $5.9818 million.
