BlockBeats News, September 2nd, the Nasdaq-listed company Hyperliquid Strategies (HSI) has increased the committed equity financing amount with Chardan Capital Markets from $10 billion to $25 billion, a 150% increase. This financing mechanism allows the company to raise funds through the issuance of new shares for its HYPE Reserve Strategy.
As of June 30th, HSI holds approximately 29.3 million HYPE tokens, with the total asset size around $19.04 billion. The company had previously raised $646.6 million through this financing mechanism and deployed $773.4 million to repurchase about 16.5 million HYPE tokens, at an average cost of $46.77 per token.
This revision also established a stricter low-price issuance limit: after selling a cumulative $1 billion in stock through this financing mechanism, if the issuance price is below $12.02, the actual issuance of shares shall not exceed 42.6418 million shares, which is 19.99% of the outstanding shares before the revision, unless approved by shareholders or subject to other exemptions.
