Trump Says U.S. May Hit Iran, Reiterates American Interest Rates Are Too High

BlockBeats News, September 1st, during an interview at the White House on Monday local time, U.S. President Trump stated: "Last night, many ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz, with an average of 30 ships passing through every night, and a large amount of oil is flowing out through the Strait of Hormuz." When asked about how the situation might develop in the future, Trump said: "There might be a strike against Iran, so let's wait and see. I think even the Iranian people themselves don't know who their leadership is, no one knows who leads Iran, Iran is a failed country."

Trump also mentioned the issue of interest rates: "Currently, the interest rates are too high, I have great respect for Fed Chairman Powell, he will do what he has to do." (FXStreet)
