US Stock Market Open: Storage Stocks Up, Neocloud Down; WDC Surges Over 3%, GLXY Drops Nearly 4%

BlockBeats News, August 26th. According to BIT (bit.com) market data, after the U.S. stock market opened on Wednesday, the storage sector performed well, with Western Digital (WDC) up 3.16%, Seagate Technology (STX) up 2.35%, Skyhigh Memory (SKHY) up 0.51%, and Micron Technology (MU) up 0.33%.


The optoelectronics sector had mixed performance, with Ciena (CIEN) up 2.45%, Lumentum (LITE) up 1.02%, Astera Labs (ALAB) up 0.71%; Nokia (NOK) down 1.59%, Marvell Technology (MRVL) down 1.29%.


Most semiconductor stocks declined, with Marvell Technology down 1.29%, Applied Materials (AMAT) down 1.16%, KLA Corporation (KLAC) down 1.06%, NVIDIA (NVDA) down 0.92%; AMD bucked the trend with a 0.93% increase.


The Neocloud sector saw a general decline, with Galaxy Digital (GLXY) down 3.93%, IREN down 3.13%, Cipher Digital (CIFR) down 2.76%, Applied Digital (APLD) down 2.63%.
