Expectations of Fed Rate Hike Next Month Slightly Increase

BlockBeats News, August 26th. Market pricing indicates that the market's expectation of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates next month has slightly increased. Previously released data by the U.S. government showed that the key inflation indicator closely watched by the Federal Reserve rose by 3.7% year-on-year in July, slightly higher than economists' expectations. Interest rate futures data indicates that following the release of this data, the market now expects a probability of around 42% for a Fed rate hike in September, up from around 36% before the data was released.
